What are you waiting for?
And how does that waiting weigh on you?
Get clear. Lighten up. Express more.
Sometimes the wait we’re carrying is heavier than we realize.
Sometimes that heaviness is physical.
Sometimes it’s creative, emotional, financial, or relational.
Maybe it’s the dream we keep postponing.
Or the truth we’re not ready to face yet.
Maybe it’s the waiting for someday.
You know, when the coast is clear, the plan is set, and the stars align.
We can keep waiting for life to feel different.
Or we can slow down long enough to notice what’s true.
This is how we begin to come home to ourselves.
Not to change, perfect, or hustle more.
But to remember, reclaim, and recover ourselves.
Because at a certain point (ahem, usually midlife), we realize this journey isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering what brings us more fully alive.
Our physical expression and creative expression are two sides of the same coin. When we stop abandoning one, the other comes alive.
And we lighten up to express more of who we truly are.

Hi, I’m Lara Zuehlke…
I know what it’s like to spend years waiting for life to begin.
And I know what happens when you realize that no one is coming to give you permission.
Because the next honest step is one only you can give yourself.
My journey has included creative recovery, physical transformation, changing my relationship with alcohol, publishing a novel, and learning to trust my voice again.
As a certified Food Psychology Coach and with decades of personal growth under my belt, I’ve created this space to share a few ahas and how-tos to help you get clear, lighten up, and create a life that feels more fully your own.
Thoughtful stories. Honest questions.
