“A powerhouse speaker…”

Lara Zuehlke sparks the kind of aha moments that stay with audiences—long after the talk ends.

Conversations that help people see themselves, their work, and one another more clearly.

Through thoughtful stories, honest questions, and practical tools, I invite audiences to see familiar challenges through a fresh lens.

Drawing from nearly 30 years of navigating change, creativity, communication, and the complexities (and hilarity) of being human, I connect with people right where they are.

So they can get clear, lighten up, and express more—at work and in life.

What’s Your Hidden Question?

We may think we're having the same conversation. Often, we're not.

Session Overview

At the heart of how we think, communicate, and collaborate is a single Hidden Question™.

That's why we can walk away from the very same conversation with completely different interpretations of what was said—and what needs to happen next.

We often assume communication breaks down because of competing priorities or personality differences.

But what if the real challenge is that we're each asking—and seeking answers to—different questions without realizing it?

Drawing on nearly three decades of experience helping leaders and teams navigate complexity, Lara introduces the Hidden Question™—a practical framework for understanding the different questions shaping how people work, communicate, and collaborate.

Through memorable stories, relatable examples, and practical tools, audiences discover how recognizing these hidden questions can transform conversations, reduce confusion and frustration, and create greater clarity in how people move forward together.

The Rest of Your Story

What if the future isn't asking us to become more machine-like—but more fully human?

Session Overview

For years, we've been taught that growth means becoming more. More productive. More accomplished. More disciplined.

But all that striving in the name of success can quietly lead us to abandon parts of ourselves along the way.

Our wide-eyed curiosity. Our honest voice. Our deepest desire for a life that brings us fully alive.

Eventually, the career and life we worked so hard to build can begin to feel heavy, boring, or strangely disconnected from who we really are.

What if the next chapter of your life isn't about becoming someone or something else?

What if the rest of your story is about remembering who you've been all along?

In this deeply human and practical keynote, Lara invites audiences to examine the stories, expectations, and patterns that have shaped how they work and live—and recognize where they may have lost themselves in the process.

Drawing from nearly three decades of navigating change, leading teams, and her own journey of coming home to herself, Lara blends honest storytelling, humor, and practical reflection to help people reconnect with what matters most.

So they can move beyond the heaviness, get clear about what is true for them, and express more of who they are—at work and in life.

Hi, I’m Lara Zuehlke…

Long before I was leading communications teams and speaking on stages, I was the kid whose report cards always said:

"Lara talks too much."

Turns out, my teachers were right.

For nearly 30 years, I've worked with leaders, teams, and organizations in navigating moments of change through the power of thoughtful conversations, meaningful stories, and strategic communication.

Today, I draw from this deep experience, along with some good ol' fashioned Texas storytelling, to craft conversations that connect with people—right where they are.

With warmth, humor, and practical how-tos, my goal is to empower your audience in getting clear, lightening up, and expressing more of who they are—at work and in life.
